Changing PatternsThe life cycles of plants and animals are also affected because of the changing temperature. The weather gets warmer a lot sooner, so the reproductive season is thrown off. Plants that flower begin to bloom sooner in the year than usual, and mammals come out of hibernation sooner. Birds are also leaving for their nesting grounds earlier in the year, and in warm places where the climate is now suitable year round, they don't move at all. The sea level is also rising, which is not only unnatural, but it takes away sea turtles' nesting beaches.

Adaptation to Climate ChangeThe temperature, precipitation, and all other factors that make up the climate affect every ecosystem and the organisms that live there. The characteristics of these organisms are catered specifically for the environment they live in, so when the environment changes, a problem arises for the plants and animals. Some species have already begun to migrate to cooler regions to avoid warmer temperatures. These include animals native to North America seeking land further north or of higher elevation.
